5-Room HDB

Intended for Spatial softness and Cohesion, while portraying a contemporary interpretation of soft-form minimalism, where sculptural gestures and functional detailing coexist in quiet harmony. The design language is defined by fluid ceiling treatments, monolithic built-ins, and a warm, desaturated palette—crafted to elevate everyday rituals within a spatially efficient, open-plan layout.

Organic Wall & Ceiling Articulation:

A continuous ribbon of cove lighting cuts across the ceiling and wall in a sinuous, wave-like form. This expressive intervention introduces a sense of movement and volume, while softening the orthogonality of the shell.

Custom Millwork in Ash-Tone Laminate:

Full-height joinery integrates media display, open shelving, and concealed storage into a single resolved volume. The cabinetry adopts clean reveals and flush panels to preserve visual order and proportional balance.

Materiality & Palette:

A cohesive mix of neutral tones—champagne beige, pale timber, and taupe—creates a tonal gradient that amplifies daylight and promotes spatial calm. Soft-touch laminates, matte finishes, and textile layering reinforce the tactile warmth.

Ergonomic Seating & Zoning:

The recliner sofa anchors the living space both physically and visually. Its soft contouring and textured upholstery contrast the planar architecture and foster a sense of comfort and repose.

Focal Pendant Over Dining:

The sculptural light fixture provides vertical punctuation to the dining zone. Its asymmetrical looped form introduces contemporary visual interest while maintaining cohesion with the fluid ceiling geometry.
